NEW: Stand The Watch (2026)
Theme: Tin Man (2007) (Azkadellia/Zero)

My Rating: Five stars. I am so happy with what I was able to do with this video as a fusion canon-and-generated-content experiment. It was my first foray into generated media as a component of a creative and I loved the way it extended what I do.
Background: This video is a tie in for a fanfic, Embers of Finaqua, but can stand alone. The song doubles as a devotional and a character study for Zero (which is also the tone of the story). I wondered if it was possible to generate plausible video footage that blended seamlessly with canon footage. It wasn’t at the time (my skills in working with the tools have advanced since then) but I found to my surprise that if the costuming and environment was sympathetic enough, the fusion seemed to be quite easy to mentally accept when viewing anyway. The music is also generated but the song was mine.
Geeky Things To Note: The main geek factor here is the creation of AI extension footage. This was the project I used to learn how to work with the tools, and there was a lot of time and work in it – a real labour of love, disproportionately so to the amount of actual generated video, but that’s the nature of a new workflow.
Programs Used: Kdenlive.
Sources: Tin Man (2007) and generated footage, mostly in Kling 3.0.
