My Rating: Five stars. I’m so thrilled with what I was able to achieve with this one!
Background: This is my first video done entirely with generated footage, and I was shooting for canon-adjacent derivative rather than a straight copy. The video recaps the main arc of my fanfic Remembrance, an Azkadellia/Zero story in which they discover that early in the Sorceress’s reign, Azkadellia could put her to sleep and get away – and had a whole secret life in those hours each day. The song tells the story and the music was generated to accompany my lyrics.
Geeky Things To Note: The main geek factor here is the creation of AI extension footage. I was deliberately shooting for characters that were visually consistent within the video, recognisable in aesthetic, but not direct copies of canon. This was partly because the characters needed to cover three distinct points of age to tell the story, and I felt the canon characters fell too awkwardly between those delineated timeframes.
